Standard character reversal may break multi-byte emoji — a single emoji can be 2–8 JavaScript characters (code units), and reversing code units corrupts them. This tool uses the Unicode-aware spread operator ([...text]) which correctly handles most emoji as single units. Complex emoji with zero-width joiners (like family emoji 👨‍👩‍👧) may still not reverse correctly.
Upside-down text uses special Unicode characters that look like flipped versions of Latin letters. For example, 'a' becomes 'ɐ', 'b' becomes 'q', 'e' becomes 'ǝ'. Not all characters have an upside-down equivalent, so some letters are approximated with the closest visual match. The text renders in any system that supports Unicode — no special fonts needed.
